I'm currently looking for another less expensive gel. You might check the label on your conditioner. If it has any silicone in it, then that could be weighing down your hair. Look for "cone" at the end of ingredients. I just started using an organic conditioner with no silocones or waxes, and like it - Nature's Gate is the brand, and I found it in HEB. <br /><br />After I use gel (no silicone in this either), I let it almost completely air dry, but to get volume, I use a diffuser and flip my head up side down for the last part of drying.
